BEACH CITY GUIDE
Pattaya travel guide: islands, theme parks and nightlife
Just two hours from Bangkok, Pattaya is about much more than nightlife: clear-water islands, huge attractions and great seafood.
Pattaya is Thailand’s closest beach city to Bangkok, which makes it perfect for a short break. It’s famous for its nightlife, but families and couples will find plenty to do, from the beaches of Koh Larn to temples, water parks and botanical gardens.
For quieter beaches, stay in Jomtien or Pratumnak, just south of the main Pattaya Beach.
